Carbon Logistics Team
Our Carbon Logistics team has over 25 years collective experience focussing on environmental and emission reduction projects as well as over 10 years of policy work with involvement in emission trading. The team’s hands-on experience ranges from broad issues, for example, international carbon market pricing, power generation sector and GHG inventories, to project focussed issues such as on-site auditing and verification, corporate strategic advice, protocol development and due diligence. They have direct experience working with project owners and developers to achieve emission reduction potential.
Based in London and Beijing, they develop projects around the world including Senegal, Sierra Leone, Brazil, Mexico, Philippines, China and the Ukraine. The team recognise the importance of being sensitive to the requirements of local organisations, partners and conditions and continually balance the larger policy and sustainability issues when planning emission reduction project execution.
Hand in hand with their project experience, they have also contributed to policy analysis and structure for various governments in the European, Asia Pacific and North American policy arena. Of particular interest is work in implementing and analysing emission trading schemes, for example, in the Czech Republic. The team has direct practice in these areas coupled with both field and desk research understanding. They are continually studying the carbon market and related issues.
